Mobile Citizen offers three premium service plans to education and non-profit organizations. Each of these services offers unlimited Internet usage allowing users to stay online as long as they want without worrying about overage charges.

Broadband Internet from Mobile Citizen – Ideal for small workgroups
This service plan is a low cost alternative to cable or DSL services for small workgroups. Users can get the performance they need, where they need it including download speeds of up to 6 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 500 Kbps*. The CLEAR Modem connects any computer or Wi-Fi router to the Internet. Just plug it in and get online anywhere in CLEAR coverage.

Mobile Internet from Mobile Citizen – Mobility for students, teachers and field-based staff
This service plan is for mobile users at schools or non-profit organizations including students, teachers and field-based staff. It combines the mobility users love about their cell phone with the speed they want from broadband. Just plug the CLEAR USB Modem into any standard USB port on a laptop computer to get online anywhere in CLEAR coverage. This portable device fits in your pocket for the ultimate in mobility. That means you get the same full internet experience you get at home, office or school while on the go. With CLEAR from Mobile Citizen you can do what you want, where you want.

Shared Mobile Internet from Mobile Citizen – Share your mobile internet connection between students, teachers, and field-based staff
This service plan is an upgrade to the Mobile Internet service plan allowing schools and nonprofits to share the mobile connection with any WiFi-enabled device. CLEAR Spot creates a fully portable, secure WiFi network from any activated CLEAR USB modem anywhere within the CLEAR WiMAX coverage area. Students, teachers and field-based staff can share a connection with up to 8 WiFi-enabled devices. Never search for a hotspot again, take it with you wherever you go.

Mobile Citizen's wireless broadband is powered by WiMAX, a 4G technology from Clearwire Corporation, the country's leading mobile broadband network provider. In 2006, Clearwire entered into a 30-year excess capacity agreement with the five EBS licensees which established Mobile Citizen. This agreement allows Mobile Citizen to offer advanced mobile broadband service exclusively to schools and nonprofits, helping to further learning and productivity by providing internet access beyond the classroom or office. Mobile Citizen has plans to launch its mobile broadband service to the educational and non-profit sectors beginning in Portland, Las Vegas, Philadelphia and Chicago in 2009.

Your 1-year service contract will be billed at the end of your 30-day trial unless you notify Mobile Citizen that you want to cancel the trial. Your charges are automatically charged to the credit or debit card provided at time of purchase or you can set up an account with us and we will bill your organization. The annual service fee and the one-time customer premise equipment (CPE) charges will be posted to your invoice or credit card account 31 days after your trial has been activated.
